Gemstone beads have long been believed to have metaphysical/healing qualities and are often used during meditation. Some are thought to bring about wisdom, strength, energy, luck, and healing to name a few. For me knitting is kind of meditational (is that a word?), so I thought…hmmm…it might be interesting to make up some stitch markers with gemstones and combine my love of knitting with my love for gemstones, it seemed like a natural combination! I love having a set of gemstone markers on my needles and concentrating on what the little stones might have the ability to do. Whether you are a skeptic or a believer, one thing is for sure, they are wonderful little pieces of nature to have on your needles!!

Sodalite:  Believed to enhance communication, intuition and self-expression.  It is considered the stone of logic and truth, promoting clear thinking and inner peace.  

Howlite: Believed to hold calming and peaceful properties.  Howlite promotes tranquility and patience, while easing stress and anxiety.  

You will receive 6 markers, each marker made with three beads, one 6mm sodalite bead and one 8mm sodalite bead with a square 6mm howlite bead in between.  The sodalite beads range in color from deep blue to white with a splattered/mottled effect.  The howlite beads are white with a gray marbling.  They are like jewelry for your knitting needles!

Stitch markers are 20mm long and work best with large loops.

LARGE = fit up to a size 11 (8mm) needle
