Flower Box Scarflette Knitting Pattern
Flower Box Scarflette Knitting Pattern
Flower Box Scarflette Knitting Pattern from the ~Sweet Tea Scarf Pattern Collection~ by Lavender Hill Knits
The Sweet Tea Scarf Collection includes patterns inspired by all the things I love about living in the South ~ grand front porches, lush trees and plants, summer rainstorms, misty spring mornings in the Smoky Mountains, rolling hills of fall color and sippin' sweet tea year-round. The scarves in this collection can be worn indoors or out and are equally at home with a t-shirt and jeans as a skirt or dress. They can be made using light wool sock yarn or try using fingering weight cotton.
So gather your yarn and needles, a tall glass of sweet tea and settle into a comfy rocker on the porch...happy knitting!
This scarf begins with a ruffled edge that mimics tulips with a pretty leaf design tucked in between each flower. A tiny leaf lace pattern adorns the body of the scarf and is finished off with a lacy lattice pattern edging as the window box. You can wear your scarf so many ways, wrap it around your neck as a neck warmer or secure the ends together with a pin or shawl pick and wear as a longer cowl. It knits up quickly and is a great take-along project to work on while watching the kids at soccer or baseball. Or when you are waiting at the doctors office or when traveling.
