Removable cowhide brown or black leather straps for DIY knitted, crocheted or sewn baskets, hipster bags, purses or tote bags.  SOLD IN PAIRS.

I created these straps to use with the linen baskets I like to make to store my yarn in, but they could be used with any basket or bag you create.  The straps attach with rivets that have screw-on backs so they can be removed to launder your basket or bag and then easily reattach the strap!  Note:  you will need to make a small hole in your basket or bag to feed the rivet through.

Straps are 1" wide, each strap comes with four screw-on rivets in your choice of stainless steel (silver) or antique gold, two for each end of the strap, so you will get two straps and eight rivets.  Length is the actual strap, the rivets take up approximately 1 1/4" on each end.  The leather I use for these straps comes from a small leather business in New England so your purchase supports two small businesses!!

Straps are available in dark chocolate brown (third photo and shown with antique gold rivets), medium brown (fourth photo - kind of like peanut butter - shown with silver rivets),  and black (second photo shown with silver rivets).  They are 2-3mm thick so they stand up to everyday use.  Straps are smooth on one side, suede finish on the back with lightly burnished edges for extended wear.  STRAPS ARE SOLD IN PAIRS.
